WHAT IS CERVICAL DISCOGENIC PAIN SYNDROME?
It refers to symptoms that arise from a herniated disc—commonly referred to as a "slipped disc" or "bulging disc"—
IOr from the degeneration of one or more spinal discs located in the cervical spine, also known as the neck.
There are soft, spongy discs that function as shock absorbers located between each vertebra of a healthy spine. Designed to cushion the vertebrae and keep individual vertebrae from grinding together, the discs of the spine also promote mobility.
